Ionia County News, 17 Jan 1929

George Jartsfer, 71 years old died at his farm home two miles southwest of this 
place Saturday from pleural pneumonia following an attack of the influenza.  He 
has been a resident of this community all his life and for many years operated a 
grain threshing outfit until the last few years.  He leaves the wife and two 
sons, Charles and Clairence of this place.  Funeral was held Monday afternoon at 
the home and interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.
