                 Child Passes Saturday After Three-Day Illness

Michael Jaurez, eleven month old son of Mr.and Mrs. Eligie Jaurez of Taft Court, 
passed away Saturday at the Burton Heights Osteopathic hospital in Grand Rapids 
after a three days illness. The child seemed to be recovering Friday but became 
critical that night.

Michael was born February 27, 1953 at Ft.Bragg, where his father was stationed 
with the army.

Surviving are the parents; a sister,Mary Lou; maternal grandparents,Mr. and 
Mrs.Dale Gould, and paternal grandparents,Mr and Mrs.John Guillen, all of this 
city.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Church of 
God with Rev. Wilbur Kirby officiating. The body was placed temporarily in the 
mausoleum with burial at River Ridge cemetery at a later date. Fitzjohn Funeral 
Home was in charge of arrangements.
