Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, April 26, 1962

William Jeffers, 48, of route two, Fenwick died unexpectedly Tuesday upon 
admittance at Sheridan Community hospital following a heart attack.

He was born in Barthall, Ky., and had resided in the Fenwick area the past 11 
years. He was employed the past eight years at Mitchell-Bentley corporation in 
Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Holloway, to whom he was married in 
Kentucky; three daughters, Mrs. Ervin Jones and Mrs. Harold Dickerson of 
Fenwick, and Gloria Jeffers at home; five sons, William Jeffers of Ionia, 
Kenneth of Sheridan, Roger with the United States Army in Texas, James with the 
United States Army in Alaska, and Paul at home; nine grandchildren; and five 
sisters, Mrs. L.P. Jones of Orleans, Mrs. Lloyd Jones of Fenwick, Mrs. Bernetty 
Haley of Belding, Mrs. Cora Schrock of Orleans and Mrs. Hazel Williams of Grand 
Rapids. 

Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan 
with burial at Clear Lake cemetery.

Bearers will be William Jeffers, Jr., Kenneth Jeffers, Roger Jeffers, James 
Jeffers, Paul Jeffers and Lloyd Jones.
