She was returned home the night before from Butterworth hospital after being there for two weeks and before that she was at the Ionia hospital for a week. She was born in Evart March 21, 1881, daughter of John and Mary Smith. She lived most of her life in Ronald township. She married William J. Jeffery in May, 1916. Mrs. Jeffery and her husband who survives her lived in their present home for two months, moving there from Bushnell township. She was a member of the Belding Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Boynton funeral home. Interment was in the family lot, Woodard lake cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Saturday, September 1, 1951 Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Jeffery who died Tuesday at 5 p.m. were conducted by the Rev. Wilbur Kirby of Belding a the Boynton funeral home Friday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. Mrs. Robert Earl and Mrs. Milan Reeves had charge of the music. Bearers were Victor, Guy, William, Donald and Fred Jeffery and Albert Hopkins. Interment was in the family lot at Woodard Lake cemetery. Relatives attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jeffery of Chicago; Mrs. Nellie Reece, Mrs. Maude Hadley, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard House of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Jeffery and Mr. and Mrs. Chauncey Hopkins of Palo; Mr. and Mrs. George Teneht of Reed City; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Teneht, Mrs. Maude Smith and Harry Peterson of Sears; Victor Jeffery and Mrs. Mary Lou Jeffery of Mt. Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Jeffery of Winn, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Jeffery of Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Jeffery of Fenwick; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burt, Richard Burt, Earl Burt, Mr. and Mrs. William Jeffery, Mrs. Stella Jeffery, Mr. and Mrs. Don Jeffery and Mr. and Mrs. George Rich of Belding; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cogswell and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Filkins of Greenville; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cogswell of Lakeview; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hopkins of Orleans; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Jeffery and Mr. and Mrs. George Hopkins of Sheridan; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jeffery of Sidney, Mr. and Mrs. James Klingsmith of Edmore; and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ross of Vickeryville.
