Ionia Sentinel Standard – 26 September 1966
Celia L. (Polley Adgate) Jeffrey, 70, 2606 Walnut drive died Saturday evening 
at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  She was born December 6, 1895 in Saranac.  
She was the daughter of Will and Minnie Warner Adgate and married Charles 
Jeffery in 1915 in Ionia.  He preceded her in death August 28, 1965.

She is survived by three sons, Dale of Kalamazoo; Harold and Clarence of 
Ionia; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Funeral services will be 
Wednesday at 1 pm at Myers funeral home.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial 
Gardens with Rev. James Kendall officiating.
