Charles “Chuck” Jeffery, 54, of Vestaburg formerly of Lyons, passed away Jan. 
30, 2013 at his home. He was born Aug. 6, 1958 in Ionia the son of Clarence and 
Barbara (Welsh) Jeffery.

Chuck loved to work with wood, loved to camp, and spend time at the lake.

Chuck is survived by his significant other Dion House of Vestaburg, Daughter 
Tonya Stanton (Harley Knap) of Lyons; step-sons CJ House (Amber White) of 
Vestaburg and Ken House of Vestaburg; grandchildren Trystyn, Caleb, Gavyn, 
Jack, Kayla, Harley, Ava, Abby and Allie; sister Brenda Schrauben of Pewamo; 
several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his sons, Shawn Jeffery in 1984 and Chuck Jr. in 
2002; his parents, Clarence and Barbara Jeffery; sister, Connie Blackard; and 
brother-in-law Carl Schrauben in 2010.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday Feb. 4 at Lake Funeral Home of 
Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 10 
a.m. till time of service.
