Minnie M. Jeffery, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 in 
Greenville, MI. She was born on February 27, 1926 in Farwell, MI the daughter 
of Clifford and Ruth (Shellenbarger) Thayer. 

Mrs. Jeffery worked at Mitchell-Bentley in Ionia and the Chrysler Plant in 
Lyons as a sewer for several years. She loved sewing, dancing of all sorts, 
including square dancing, camping, traveling, working in her garden, and 
raising her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; three brothers, 
Henry, Junior, and Robert. Surviving are her children, Gwen Reisbig (David 
Hoppough) of Ionia, Terry (Jeanne) Jeffery of Ionia, Linda Reisbig of Ionia, 
Carmen (Jim) Schodowski of Ionia, and Joy (Ed) Ingvartsen of Ionia; 10 
Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Brother, LaVern (Cindy) Thayer of 
Lyons; 3 sisters, Marie (Wolford) Devers of Lyons, Norma Jean Thayer of 
Hubbardston, and Rosella Rushford of Muir; several nieces and nephews. 

The Memorial Service will be conducted by the Rev. Darren Tharp, Pastor of 
Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Cook Chapel, Ionia. Interment will take place 
in the Spring at Tuttle Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. For 
those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's 
Association in memory of Minnie M. Jeffery.
