The Ionia Daily Standard, Saturday, February 5, 1916
Mrs. Emily B. Jefferys, wife of Corey M. Jefferys, died Friday evening at 
their home, 120 Tower street.  She was 42 years old.  Several children are 
left.  The funeral will be conducted by Rev. A. R. Mitchell at the residence 
at 2:00 p.m. Monday, with burial at Highland Park.

Subsequent Publication:  Monday, February 7, 1916

The funeral for Mrs. Corey Jeffery was held at the residence this afternoon, 
Rev. A. R. Mitchell officiating.  The bearers were James Elliott, Mathew 
Roach, Carl Schrader, Stephen Dadd, A. M. Burnett and Otto Zanders.
