Cecil J. Jeffrey, 76, of 2240 W. Station Road, Sheridan, died Wednesday, June
29, 2005, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids.  He was born Dec.
7, 1928, in Belding, the son of Victor and Ruth Dickerson Jeffrey.

Mr. Jeffrey was a lifetime resident of the Sheridan area.  He was a United
States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a life member of Veterans of
Foreign War Post 5065.  He was retired form Frigidaire and was a member of
Wesleyan Bible Church.  He married Donna R. Kosten on June 4, 1952, in Stanton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Donna R.
Jeffrey; three sons, James and Beverly Jeffrey, Steven and Gale Jeffrey, Craig
Jeffrey, all of Sheridan; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan,
with Pastor Lois Glass officiating.  Interment is in Sheridan Cemetery. 
Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  The family
suggests memorial considerations to the Diabetes Association.
