The Ionia County News, Thursday, November 12, 1936

Carl Jehner, 65, died in the University Hospital, Ann Arbor, at five o’clock 
Thursday morning November 12.  Two years ago in October, 1934, Mr. Jehner 
suffered a broken leg and dislocated hip when he was run over by a loaded 
truck.  He had been a patient in the Ann Arbor hospital for more than a year 
and was operated on a year ago.  The body will be brought to Ionia by the 
Bradley ambulance and funeral arrangements made later.

Mr. Jehner is survived by a brother and a granddaughter, Charlotte Mathe, Hill 
Street.
