The Portland Observer, Wednesday, March 17, 1886


Mr. P. Jenkins died in this village last Monday at 7 o’clock, aged 67 years.  
Mr. Jenkins has been a resident of this place for over 40 years, and has left 
a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.  The funeral services were 
held at the Universalist church, yesterday afternoon, Rev. W. A. Squires, of 
Lansing, officiating.
