The funeral was held Thursday, May 29, from her late home, Rev. W.A. Biss officiating and burial was made in Otisco cemetery. Obituary – Mrs. Floyd Jenks, Cora J. Douglas was born in Otisco, April 30, 1895 and died May 26, 1919 at the age of 24 years. On November 10, 1915 she was married to Floyd E. Jenks and to this union two sons were born Douglas E. aged 1 year and 8 months and Gordon E., aged 8 weeks. She leaves besides her husband and two sons, her father, mother, three sisters and one brother to mourn their loss as best they can. She was baptized in the fellowship of the Baptist church in Belding in 1913 at the age of 18 and held this faith until her departure from this life. She was also a member of the Young Peoples society, the Merrymakers and Grattan Grange No. 170. She leaves a host of friends who mourn the loss of a true and faithful friend.
