Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Sep 1921

Horace S. Jenks died at the home of his son, Ralph Jenks, South Ionia, Monday 
evening at 6 o’clock.  At the time of his death Mr. Jenks was 82 years of age and 
had been ill for some time.  His home was formerly near McBride.  He is survived 
by his son, Ralph Jenks, and daughter, Mrs. L. Harrington, of Greenville.  The 
funeral will be held from the residence in South Ionia Wednesday morning at 10 
o’clock and from the Westville church at 1 o’clock.  Rev. Leippert will 
officiate.  Burial will take place in the family lot at McBride.
