LAKE ODESSA, MI - Beverly Arlene Jenks, age 85, of Lake Odessa passed away 
February 13, 2011 in Grand Rapids. She was born February 7, 1926 in Lyons, the 
daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Kilts) Benner.

Beverly married John Jenks February 14, 1942 in Ionia. He preceded her in death 
November 29, 2005.

Beverly is survived by her daughters, Janet (Phillip) Welch of Lake Odessa and 
Shirley (Tom) Lewis of Hastings; brother, Duane (Phyllis) Benner of Sidney; 
sister, Shirley Allen of Florida; eight grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren 
and 15 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Terry; brothers, Wallace (Ink) Benner and 
Verlin (Nub) Benner and sister, Natalie Linebaugh of Florida.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia with Rev. Tom Rundell officiating. Interment Balcom Cemetery.
