He was born February 17, 1889 in Bushnell township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McKimball. His foster parents were Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Jenks. He was employed for 25 years in shipping service at Gibson Refrigerator company. Mr. Jenks was married to Lena Alberta, who died three years later. He then was married to Beatrice Heald who passed away 14 years ago. In 1944 he married Hazel Cole Liewellyn and she survives. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Bonnie, Mrs. Robert Wolling, and a granddaughter, Virginia LePelliere Wolling of Coronada, California, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Dupont and little daughter Sharon of Detroit, three brothers, Benjamin McKimball of Palo, Byron McKimball of Los Angeles, California, and William McKimball of Sunfield; two sisters, one a twin sister, Mrs. C. E. Strobridge of Melbourne, Florida, and another sister, Mrs. H. L. Hulbert of Detroit. Funeral services were held Tuesday at two o’clock at Fitzjohn Funeral home. Rev. H. S. Ellis officiated and the burial was in River Ridge cemetery. Pallbearers were Hugh Boss, Clarence Higgins Sr., Al Raymond, Everett Eady, Tom Barnes and Robert Harrington.
