Daily Sentinel-Standard (Pg. 3) - Monday, May 3, 1943

Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Jenks, former Easton township resident who died 
Saturday in University hospital at Ann Arbor following an extended illness will 
be held at the Stone funeral home here on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with 
Rev. Frederick W. Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.

Born January 5, 1886, the daughter of Edward and Lucy Bixby, Mrs. Jenks had 
resided in Easton township most of her life, moving to Webberville five years 
ago.

Surviving are her husband, Ray; three sons, Howard and Claude, of Webberville 
and Elbert, of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Foster of Flint, and Mrs. C.R. 
Smith of Mt. Morris, and two brothers, Glenn Bixby, of Detroit, and Ray Bixby, 
of Saranac.
