The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 15, 1972
Leo L. Jenks, 67, of Lakeview drive, Long Lake, died Sunday morning at 
Blodgett Memorial hospital in Grand Rapids following a short illness.

Born May 23, 1904, in Lyons, he was the son of Edwin and Olga Jenks and 
attended Lyons schools.  He was a steel seam finisher for Belding 
Manufacturing company.

He was married to Louise Henkel in 1962 in Grand Rapids and she survives as do 
two stepsons and two stepdaughters; nine step grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. 
Odessa Maus of Lyons and Mrs. Effie Sprout of Lowell.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home 
in Muir.  Rev. Richard Harrison of Lyons Baptist church will officiate and 
interment will be at Lyons cemetery.
