The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 28, 1945


Funeral services for Leon Albert Jenks, eight-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Elbert Jenks, Route 4, who died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Blow, 
Thursday evening at 10 o’clock were held Friday, December 28 at the home of 
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Blow at 3 o’clock.  The Rev. Howard Fuller officiated at 
the service.  Interment was at the Balcom cemetery.

The baby was born December 19 at the Ionia County Memorial hospital and is 
survived by its parents; two brothers, Lawrence and Lloyd; a sister, Ardis; 
and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Blow of Berlin township and Ray Jenks 
of Webberville.
