Pioneer Resident Summoned By Death

Mrs. Mary Belle Jennings, 79, Passes Away Wednesday; Funeral On Friday

Mrs. Mary Belle Jennings, 79, well know pioneer resident of this city, passed 
away at the home of her son, Charles Jennings, 114 Summit street, Wednesday 
morning at 6:45 o’clock, following a brief illness.  She was a life-long 
resident of this county and highly esteemed by those who knew her.

The funeral will be held from the son’s home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, 
and will be private.  Rev. A. T. Luther will have charge.  Interment will be 
made in Highland Park cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Charles at home, James, in the west; one sister, 
Mrs. S.B. Gorham.
