Jennings, wife of Harry Jennings, died at the home, 942 W. Main St., Saturday evening at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Jennings had only been ill about four days, the cause of death being pneumonia. She celebrated her 50th birthday on Christmas Day. Mrs. Jennings was born on the homestead on West Lincoln Avenue and had always been a resident of Ionia township. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Sage who died just one month ago. She leaves a grandmother, Mrs. Eliza T. Wilson of Shiloh, aged 97. As far as it is known Mrs. Wilson is the oldest woman in the county, surviving both her daughter and granddaughter. The funeral will be held from the residence, 942 West Main street, Tuesday morning at 10:30, Rev. E.E. Branch officiating and burial will take place in Woodard Lake Cemetery. George Alexander and family of Alto, cousins of Mrs. Jennings, are expected today. Frank Wilson and family and Charles Wilson and family of Barryton will also be here to attend the funeral.
