June 30—David W. Jennings, aged 55, of Sturgis, who has been in Grand Rapids hospital until recently, is dead at Stanton. He was an old resident of Ionia, where he lived many years. The funeral will be held here tomorrow, conducted by Rev. R. H. Bready, of Grand Rapids. The deceased was for many years in business in Middleville. Another Publication: The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 8, 1910 There was a large attendance at the funeral of David W. Jennings, at the home of his sister, Mrs. F. T. Mason, Friday afternoon, and the sentiment of regard and sympathy was also shown by the numerous and beautiful floral testimonials. The service, by Rev. Russell H. Bready, pastor of Trinity M. E. church, Grand Rapids, a personal friend of the family, was appropriate and filled with the spirit of tender regard and with messages of comfort to the mourning friends. There was no singing. Interment was in Oak Hill. The bearers were: M. H. Bachman, Harry Jennings, A. J. Hemingway and F. T. Mason. Friends present from out the city were: Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rice, Mr. and Mrs. Morton H. Bachman, Mr. Cliston Bachman, Stanton; Mrs. Abbie Sweeney, Chicago; Mr. E. .B. Stebbins, Sturgis, representing City Church, and Ladies Club, bringing floral testimonial from each; J. C.
