Jennings. David W. Jennings of Sturgis, Mich., died at Stanton Wed. evening at 5 o’clock. He was 60 years old, and leaves a wife, daughter of the late Calvin Rice, but no children. He was a son of Mrs. Nancy Jennings and a brothers of Mrs. Fred T. Mason of this city. He was born in Ronald, this county, and his youthful and early manhood days were spent in this city. He went from here to Middleville, just about twenty-five years ago, where he was engaged in business, and later moved to Sturgis where his home has been for several years. He was stricken with paralysis and was taken to Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids, some weeks ago. Nothing could be done for him there, and he was taken to Stanton a week ago, where he has been at the home of Morton Bachman, a relative of his wife. Everything possible was done for him, but he sank away slowly but surely to the end. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Russell H. Bready of Grand Rapids, at the home of his sister, Mrs. F. T. Mason, 331 East Lincoln Avenue, on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment, Oak Hill.
