Sentinel-Standard - Monday, April 18, 1932

The funeral party from Sturgis, Mich., with the remains of Mrs. David W. 
Jennings, arrived this afternoon. Mrs. Jennings was a former resident of 
Ionia, she and Mr. Jennings having built two nice homes here. Mrs. Jennings 
was formerly Miss Dillie Rice, ad a sister-in-law to Mrs. Fred T. Mason. 
They went to Sturgis in about 1885. Mrs. Jennings had a fall, fracturing her 
hip, and had been confined in the Grobehiser Memorial hospital for three 
months. This was followed by a stroke which caused her death Saturday. 
Interment will be in the Mausoleum in the Highland Park cemetery, where her 
husband is buried. Rev. C.J. Kruse, former pastor of the Methodist church, 
with the funeral party, accompanied the remains here.
