The Carson City Gazette, Friday, May 4, 1900
Mrs. Elizabeth Jennings died at the home of her son in Ronald last Thursday, 
April 15, aged 91 years.  She had been closely identified with the history and 
development of Ionia county for more than half a century.  The funeral was 
held at North Plains Union Church Sunday and interment was made in North 
Plains cemetery.  Mrs. Wm. Sessions of this place was Mrs. Jennings’ daughter 
and John Jennings was a grandson of the deceased.  Mrs. Sessions and Mr. and 
Mrs. Jennings attended the funeral.
