Ionia Sentinel Standard - April 4, 1989


Donald D. Jensen, 64, formerly of Ionia, died Sunday at Orchard Hills Hospital, 
Belding.

Born March 19, 1925, he was the son of John and Eva Matzke Jensen.

He attended Hubbell rural school and then began work on his parents farm, which 
he did all his life. He also assisted his father in the lumber business.

He is survived by his parents, John and Eva Jensen; a sister, Mildred Strieter 
of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a nephew, Jack Strieter, and a niece, Judy Luck.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Woodard Lake Cemetery, 
with the Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.

Friends may call at Cook Funeral Home on Wednesday until service time. 

A memorial has been established for the National Kidney Foundation, in care of 
the funeral home.
