Ionia County News, 9 Oct 1941

Erwin Jepson, son of Noah K. and Rosa Jepson, was born in Keene township 59
years ago, and passed away at his home in Chicago, Illinois, Friday, from
injuries received from a fall in an elevator shaft.

Mr. Jepson spent his early days in this vicinity but had traveled most of his
life living in Brooklyn, New York, and other eastern cities until 1920, when he
went to Chicago. He is survived by his widow, Frances, one son, N.K. Jepson,
Jr., of Lansing, and his aged father, N.K. Jepson, Sr., also of Lansing. 
Services were held there on Sunday.
