Clemens hospital Monday morning from injuries that she received in an automobile accident Sunday, September 29, while en route to visit her son, Starr, at Port Huron. George N. Shaw, of Muir, went to Mt. Clemens Monday for the body and the funeral arrangements will be made upon their arrival home Monday evening. Mrs. Jessup had lived all her life in the vicinity northeast of Muir and Matherton. She held membership in the North Plains Gleaner lodge. After leaving the vicinity of Matherton, Mr. and Mrs. Jessup moved onto the farm owned by Frank Conner, northeast of Muir, and 15 years ago bought the James Longcor farm where they have since resided. Her husband; three children, Mildred, of Muir, Russell, of Lansing, and Starr, of Port Huron; a sister, Mrs. Anna Gage and a brother, Ernest Moore, of Matherton, survive. She also leaves two grandchildren, the children of Mr. and Mrs. Starr Jessup, and a nephew, John Gage, of Matherton.
