Pauline H. Jewell, 82, 914 North Bridge, Belding, died Thursday at her
residence.  She was born April 27, 1911, in Belding, the daughter, of Ralph and
Rose Isalene Bliss Belding.  She was a graduate of Belding High School.  She was
married March 22, 1929, in Greenville, to Clare Jewell.  He died Aug. 2 this year.

Surviving are five daughters, Narva Camplin, Sandra Tromp and Lois Kinney of
Belding, Judy Sears of Rockford, and Joan Hunt of Stanton; four sons, Jack
Jewell and Bernard Jewell of Belding; Duane Jewell of Blountsville, Ala., and
Ronald Jewell of Marysville, Calif.; 58 grandchildren; 81 great grandchildren;
and eight great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter,
Patricia; two sons, Daniel and Charles; and two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. from Johnson Funeral Home,
Belding, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Burial will be in Otisco
Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. Friday.  A memorial for Ionia Area Hospice has been established care of the
funeral home.
