Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1975

Mrs. Caroline Jewell, 92, of 444 Hill received word Saturday of the death of 
her mother-in-law, Mrs. Maude Jewell, 92, of Holt.

Services were conducted Tuesday in Lansing and interment was in the family lot 
at the Charlotte cemetery.

Mrs. Jewell had lived at 339 1/2 East Main in Ionia many years before going to 
Holt to live with her daughter, Mrs. Mae Tooker. She was the mother of the late 
Ace Jewell.

Surviving besides the daughter in Holt are a son, Dick Jewell of Sun City, 
Ariz., and one granddaughter and two great grandchildren.
