Hamilton chapel in Detroit. Interment was at the Woodlawn cemetery in north Detroit. Attending the funeral services form Ionia were the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jinks and Mr. and Mrs. Murrel M. Jinks. Mr. Jinks was found to have suffered the heart ailment for a number of years, and had been under a physician’s care for the past eight years. He had not informed his family of his condition. Being one of WJR’s chief engineers, Mr. Jinks received an opportunity to become attached to the federal office of war information to be sent to London. He refused the position last spring, apparently because of his heart condition.
