He was born on October 31, 1947 in Lansing, MI the son of Joseph Paul and Mabel Etta (Carpenter) Jodway. Mr. Jodway was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Bath American Legion Post #412. William was retired from Fisher Body, and he traveled extensively throughout South America. The family wishes to thank the Independent Village staff, Eaton County Rehabilitation Center, Sparrow Neuro-Intensive Care Unit, and McLaren Cardiovascular Group for their service, care and consideration. Preceding William in death were his parents. Surviving are his sister, Emilie (Charlie) Wolf of Portland; 3 nephews; 1 grand nephew; 2 grand nieces; dear friend, Vickie Miller. The Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland, with Rev. Daniel L. Stemen of the Portland Nazarene Church presiding.
