Tuesday, February 25, 1964
MUIR- Frank Francis Jodway, 68, died early Tuesday morning at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital.

A resident of Muir seven months, he was born in Cheboygan July 25, 1894 and 
moved to Muir from Blanchard. He previously was a factory worker in South Bend, 
Ind.

He was married in 1930 to Emeline Alboen who died in 1945. In 1954 he was 
married to Alberta Howe, who survives.

Other survivors include seven sons Alfonse Jodway of Shephard, Paul of East 
Lansing, Roy of Naponee, Neb,  Lawrence of Dimondale, Raymond of Perry, Virgil 
of Mishawaka, Ind., and Les of Westville, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Ella Wood 
of Muir, Ms. Bernice Campbell of Mt. Pleasant, Ms. Eleanor Bridget of Blanchard 
and Mrs. Delores Evans of Waterloo, Iowa; three step-sons, three step-
daughters; and 19 grandchildren.

The body is at Shaw-Rivet funeral home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced.


Wednesday, February 26, 1964
MUIR- Funeral service for Frank Francis Jodway, 69, of Muir who died Tuesday 
morning will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir. 
The Rev. Richard Bullock of Millet Bible church will officiate and interment 
will be at Muir cemetery,
