BARRY CO. FARMER DIED SATURDAY

John A. Aspinall, 77, retired Barry County farmer passed away at the home
of his son, Floyd, at Hastings, route 2, Saturday morning after several months 
illness. He has lived in Barry county most of his life and served as sexton at 
the Freeport cemetery when he resided at Freeport.

Surviving are four sons, Floyd and Ford of Hastings, Russell of Caledonia, 
Lonnie (Buster) of Evart; three daughters, Mrs. Fay Underwood of Ionia, Mrs. 
Tony Slagel of Middleville and Mrs. Duane Tangemay of Davenport, Ia.; 24 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

His wife, the former Marybelle Parker, died almost eight years ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Wing and Pickens funeral 
home at Woodland, with burial in Fuller cemetery, Barry county.
