Mrs. Clyde Johnson, 41, of Belding, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday evening at the 
Sunshine Sanatorium in Grand Rapids where she had been for the past year.

She was born Therma B. Baird in Oden.  When she was 17 she moved to Belding 
from Morley.  Before she married Clyde Johnson in 1930, she worked in the silk 
mills.  Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Central Methodist church of Belding.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde; mother, Mrs. Belle Baird Campbell; five 
sisters, Mrs. Iris Zimmerscheid of Garfield, Wash., Mrs. Ferol Scott of Willow 
Creek, Ore., Mrs. Carol Brink of Greenville, Mrs. Selma Outman of Belding, Mrs. 
Marie O’Brien of Diamondale; and three brothers, Willard Baird of Greenville, 
Donald Campbell of St. Johns, and Gene Campbell of Belding.
