Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Sat., May 2, 1931
Mrs. Mary Johnson, 68, widow of Charles Johnson, died at her home at 5 o'clock 
Saturday evening following an illness of a complication of diseases that has 
existed since last fall.  Funeral services will be held in Palo Tuesday afternoon 
at 2  o'clock and the burial there.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Montcalm county and had lived the most of her life in 
that vicinity.  Mr. Johnson died two years ago in August.  A sister, Mrs. Warden 
of Orleans and two step-sons, one of Detroit and one of Cincinnati, survive.
