Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. May 11, 1970
Florence Johnson, 86, of Clair died last Saturday evening at Isabella County 
Medical center. She had previously been at the Bloomfield convalescent home at 
Shephard.

Surviving are two sons, William Battles of Clair and Floyd Battles of Ionia; 
three daughters, Mrs. Lena Gibbs and Mrs. Marie Smith both of Clair and Mrs. 
Francis Leiter of Ionia. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 am at Catholic church at Clair. Rosary 
will be recited at Stevenson, Daugherty funeral home with burial at Cherry 
Grove Cemetery at Clair.
