Feb. 17, 1925 WELL-KNOWN IONIA WOMAN DIES AFTER FEW DAYS' ILLNESS Mrs. Gilbert Johnson, a resident of Ionia for many years, died at her home on Bedford street Monday afternoon at 3:40 after an illness lasting only since last Tuesday. The cause of her death was given as a complication of diseases. Mrs. Johnson, who before her marriage was Miss Annabelle Johnson, was born in Michigan 60 years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Dunn, of Ithaca, and Miss. Pauline Johnson, at home; one son, Ray, at home and a brother, Nelson Johnson of North Dakota. The funeral services will be held from the Boynton chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Charles J. Kruse officiating. Burial will take place in Palo cemetery.
