Yeomans of 601 Haynor road, route 3, where she had made her home for the past year. She was born in Germany and moved to the United States with her parents at the age of four years and made their home in Illinois. She was married there to Albert L. Johnson and they moved to a farm in Orleans township where they lived several years prior to moving to Ionia in 1943. In 1959 they moved to Louisiana where Mr. Johnson died December 1961 at which time she returned to Ionia to live with her daughter. She was a member of First Methodist church and at one time was active in Dildine Community club. She leaves a son Leonard Johnson of Grand Rapids, three daughters, Mrs. L. A. Brauer of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. C. A. Milton of Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Yeomans; two sisters, Mrs. Chester Coble and Mrs. Arthur Washburn both of Aurora, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Boynton funeral home with Rev. Lester C. Bailey of First Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
