She was born June 16, 1878, the daughter of Wesley and Barbara George. On October 16, 1896 she married Louis Kuhtz who died November 20, 1937. She married Louis Johnson of Raymond June 17, 1945. Surviving besides the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Murley, of Grosse Pointe Woods; four sons, Forrest, William, Leon and Ronald, all of Ionia; and 11 grandchildren. Another son, Charles, died in 1920. Services will be conducted at the Myers funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Balcom cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Wednesday, January 14, 1953 Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Court O. Adams at Myers funeral home Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Cora K. Johnson, 74, who died at her home in Raymond, Wash., Wednesday, January 7. Bearers were Forest, William, Leon and Ronald Kuhtz, Kenneth Johnson and Ellsworth Murley, Jr. Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Murley, Jr., and sons of Grosse Pointe Woods; Mr. and Mrs. John Maden and Louis Johnson and son of Raymond, Wash.; Mrs. Kate Laughlin, Mrs. Anna Reiser, Leon Huddle, Mrs. Geraldine Klahn, Mr. and Mrs. George Becker and Rex Karcher of Lake Odessa; Mrs. Laura Mix and Miss Louise Baker of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Walker Cotton, Mr. and Mrs. Burr Cotton, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Lehman and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Fischer of Woodland; Mrs. Gayle Brummler, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Britton, Mrs. Walter VanHouten and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Comton of Grand Rapids; and Mrs. Lawrence Almy of Collins. A half sister, Mrs. Corinne Allen, of Delores, Colo., was unable to attend services.
