Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 27 Jun 1972

Lake Odessa – Gladys F. Johnson, 81, died Tuesday morning at Provincial House at
Hastings where she had been since June 5.  Born in Lake Odessa, March 4, 1891,
she was the daughter of Walter and Marcia Tupper Johnson and was a lifelong
resident of Lake Odessa.  She graduated from Lake Odessa high school and worked
as a clerk at Lake Odessa post office 31 years before retiring.  She was a
member of the Jolly Dozen club.

There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake
Odessa.  Rev. Marvin Zimmerman will officiate and interment will be at Lakeside
cemetery.
