Johnson, passed away at the home of her son, Burr Smith, 646 Harrison Ave., Wednesday afternoon at the age of 84 years, two months and six days. She was born in Grattan township in 1861 and spent her early life there and at Plainfield, coming to Belding in 1917 and has lived in and near here since that time. She was a member of the Greenville Grange. Funeral services will be held at the Fales-Huffman funeral home Saturday at 2 o’clock and Rev. Thomas Rice will officiate with burial in River Ridge cemetery beside her former husband. Survivors are the husband, two grandchildren and nine step-children.
