Mr. Johnson was a native of Indiana but had been in Michigan forty years, thirty-nine of which he had been a resident of this city. Surviving him are his sister, Mrs. Stella Bacon, with whom he made his home, a brother, Anthony Johnson, of Morley, and two sons, Earl and Charles, of Toldeo, his wife having passed away about thirty-five years ago. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the home, Rev. J. D. Aelick, pastor of the local church of Latter Day Saints officiating, and burial was in River Ridge cemetery.
