Ann St., was instantly killed Saturday afternoon in an auto accident north of Greenville. He was born March 19, 1913, in Osceola county. He was married in Ionia May 17, 1935, to Alice Lillian Leslie, who survives. He was a welder at Gibson Refrigerator factory. Surviving besides his wife are four daughters, Laura at home, Mrs. Ilene Waite of Reed City, Mrs. Edna Longworthy and Miss Rosemary Johnson, and one son, William, Jr., all of Reed City; seven brothers, James Johnson, of Blanchard; Howard, of Potomac, Ill.; Kenneth, Lakeview; Newton, Edmore; Russell, Blanchard; Alvin, R2, Edmore, and Milton, of Canada; three sisters, Mrs. Otha Hunt, Edmore; Mrs. Inez Rose, Plymouth; Mrs. Shirley Beach, Lakeview, and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 o’clock at the Ellis Funeral Home, Rev. Frank Gillett officiating, and burial was in River Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Chas. Rose was the organist.
