Belding – Donelda M. Johnson, 68, Belding, passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997,
at Metron of Belding.
She was born March 15, 1929, in Belding, to Olen and Gladys Ruthruff Beach.  She
was employed at General Motors in Grand Rapids for 30 years, retiring in 1986. 
She was a member of the UAW union.  She was married to Leland A. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Leland; their children, John and Brenda Johnson
of Belding, Gary and Jody Johnson of Midland; four grandchildren; one brother
and sister-in-law, Chuck and Inez Beach of Stanton.  She was preceded in death
by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, with
Pastor Kenneth Martin officiating.  Interment will be in Rest Haven Memory
Gardens.  Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Memorials may be made to
the St. Joseph Church Building Fund.
