Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Mar 1965

Mrs. Hazel E. Johnson, 75, former resident of McBride, died Friday at Ionia
County Memorial hospital.  She was born near McBride December 29, 1889 and had
lived the past six years with her daughter, Mrs. Glenda Capron of 1032 Hackett
street, Ionia.

Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. Eileen Taylor of San Bernardino, Calif.; two
grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one niece.  Her husband, Ernest preceded
her in death in 1957.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home in Stanton
with burial at McBride cemetery.  Officiating  will be the Rev. William Payne,
pastor of Edmore and McBride Methodist churches.
