Ionia Sentinel, 16 Oct 1874

Mrs. Johnson, wife of M. L. Johnson of Muir and sister of Mrs. D. T. Fargo, died
at the residence of the last named in this city, on the 7th inst.  The funeral
ceremonies were held at the same place on Friday last, Rev. H.M. Joy officiating.

[Transcriber’s Note:  There is are notations on the obituary card that she was
the daughter of Edwin P. Root, and that she was buried in Muir cemetery.
