Harvey Leonard Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Johnson of Palo was born 
May 13, 1904 and died after a brief illness, Nov. 15, 1913, aged 9 years, 6 
months, and 2 days.

Always of a cheerful disposition, he carried sunshine and gladness to those 
who understood him best.

He will be missed, but we would not call him back to this world of trials 
and temptations; for he has gone to the blessings of that heavenly home 
above, gone where sorrows never come, safe from all harm in the Savior's 
boundless love; "Lord, Thy will, not ours be done."

Funeral services were held at the Palo Baptist church, conducted by Pastor 
I.B. Buffum, in the presence of a large congregation at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday 
Nov. 18, 1913, after which interment was made in Palo cemtery
