Daily Sentinel - Saturday, March 23, 1912

N.P. Johnson died Monday forenoon after a short illness of appendicitis. Mr. 
Johnson's family was afflicted a few weeks ago by the loss of a son by 
diphtheria and now all that are left at home are two little girls. The mother 
died about four years ago. There is one daughter in Grand Rapids and a son and 
daughter in the west. Surely the family have the heartfelt sympathy of all 
their neighbors and friends.
