Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Oct. 6, 1978

Margaret D. Johnson, 72, of 14300 Clintonia Rd., died Thursday at her home.

She was born June 24, 1906 in Ionia county, the daughter of Ben Darling and 
Charity Slaght. 

Survivors include her husband, George, one son, George R. of Portland; three 
daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Coffey, Mrs. Loretta Posey and Mrs. Mary Oxendale of 
Portland; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Zanders of Ionia, Mrs. Mary Gomez of 
Detroit and Mrs. Olive Johnson of Wacousta, seven grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren. 

Services are Saturday at 2 pm from the Neller funeral home with Rev. Maruice 
Christensen officiating.

Burial is in Danby cemetery.

Bearers are Harold and Robert Remington, Mark and David Oxendale and Lewis and 
Ben Dickerson.
