Ionia Standard - Friday, April 12, 1883

The funeral of Ethan S. Johnson on Saturday was largely attended, all those 
present bot being able to get into the house. Rev. Dr. Van Alstine conducted 
the services and Messrs. O. Tower, J.M. Kidd, Richard Dye, Sylvester Taylor, 
Benj. Harter and Hampton Rich were the pall bearers. 

Wm. Johnson, wife and child, and Harvey Johnson of Texas will remain in Ionia 
for at least a week longer.
